Website of the month

http://davidbyrne.com/radio

David Byrne has been on my mind a bit these days.  He recently released the CD Big Love: Hymnal and is currently on tour.  So, while doing research for this month’s issue, I found davidbyrne.com.  I was especially drawn to the ‘Radio’ section.  Each month, David posts a playlist that streams for the entire month.  There is a different theme each month which provides a glimpse of the music that excites this innovative artist.  So, after exploring the site, let me just say one thing to all of you in cyberspace…David Byrne should be my new best friend.  He has impeccable music taste and his essays about his playlists are quite insightful.  Do yourself a favor and tune in each month.

Morello: Don't Hold Breath For Rage Album
With two albums out, more than 50 songs that have not yet been recorded and a world gone awry, Tom Morello plans to stay busy as the Nightwatchman for the foreseeable future. But one project he won't be working on is a new album from Rage Against The Machine, which reformed in 2007 after a seven-year break.  provided by: BillBoard.com
